A.F.G. Bernardino Memorial Trade School

The Assemblywoman Felicita G. Bernardino Memorial Trade School was known as the biggest Tech-Voc Public School in Marilao. I choose this school as my Practice Teaching grounds because this school also known for its Quality Education. When I first entered in the premises of the school during my Field Study days I not shocked that school has a huge space like what I mostly heard from other people then I also found out its true that the volume of its population is really big. Upon entering the gate, the first thing will see was the Guard who will greet a “good morning” with a smile. The visitors will not get lost because there are post that indicates where the buildings can be found. There are many buildings in AFGBMTS but it’s not enough so that there are shifting of classes, because of the huge population of the school they need to build more classrooms in order to accommodate the growing population of enrollees. And each building is PWD friendly because there are ramps especially made for them. They have the Oplan Lipad Campaign in the school where in they will maintain the cleanliness of the school particularly in the classroom by the help of the Supreme Student Government and other clubs they check each classroom if its clean or not. 

REFLECTION:

My first choice school since they tell us to write down in a piece of paper the name of school you wanted to do your Field Study 1-2-3-4-5-6 and Practice Teaching, the only school that I write was Assemblywoman Felicita G. Bernardino Memorial Trade School, AFGBMTS for short. I’m really curious about this school since when I was in Grade 6 because when they asking each other where they go in high school they only have one answer it was in AFGMBTS, on that day on I really wanted to know what did that school look like inside because every time I passed by in Lias Road I always looking in that school and saying on my mind that I will enter in that school someday so that when I got the opportunity to enter the school, I feel free from curiosity throughout the year. Teachers, students, guards, non-teaching personnel are all approachable that they will not treat you like other but they all respecting you even you are a student teacher. Since the day that I left the school because my Practice Teaching end, I felt sad looking to this picture missing the good memories and bad memories even the good person that I met. But I know that I will going back to this school someday when I became a licensed professional teacher.
